It's hard to be in transition and not want to know what the future holds.  We naturally desire to know how things will turn out, and sometimes this desire can morph into an attempt to control the outcome.

When we leap, the need for the safety net disappears.

For me, a universal truth has been constant: Things seem to work out best when I state WHAT I want, but detach from the HOW piece.  In other words, instead of figuring out how everything should align with my wants and desires, I simply must declare what I want and then let go.

But letting go is not easy.  My tea tag yesterday said "Let go and it will come."  Argh.  So challenging.  But so darn true.

What part of your future are you attempting to control?  Are you trying to figure out the how instead of clarifying the what?
